DR. BRADLEY WAGGONER, M.D.
Bradley S. Waggoner, M.D. is originally from Waco, Texas. He graduated with honors from Texas Tech University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry. Additionally, he received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas Tech School of Medicine. Dr. Waggoner completed his first two years of training in Lubbock and his final two in El Paso, Texas where he served an indigent population in desperate need of medical care.
Immediately to follow, Dr. Waggoner went on to complete his 5 years of general surgery residency training at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. It was during this time that he also trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery. He offers laparoscopic colorectal surgery, laparoscopic biliary surgery , laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic reflux repair surgery and laparoscopic bariatric surgery. In addition to the above listed minimally invasive surgical options, Dr. Waggoner works closely with breast patients, offering biopsy, lumpectomy and mastectomy services.
Dr. Waggoner completed post graduate laparoscopic training in San Francisco, California for Gastric Bypass; Dallas, Texas for laparoscopic colorectal surgery; New York for Adjustable Gastric Banding and Louisiana for the Sleeve Gastrectomy (Gastric Sleeve).
Most recently, he trained in Louisiana regarding the new technique of Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF) for resolution of severe GERD. Dr.Waggoner is currently the only physician in Northwest Houston that offers this innovative and life changing procedure.
Dr. Waggoner earned his board certification in General Surgery in May 2013.
Dr. Waggoner’s solo practice, Cypress Bariatric & General Surgery is located in the Northeast Medical Plaza Building 1 in Humble, Texas. He also maintains privileges at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center.
